The composite door market within UK fenestration is one of the most competitive around. Some of the biggest in this part of the industry are investing heavily in their facilities, expanding their capacity and evolving their capabilities and options. With the composite door market forecast to grow strongly over the coming five years, there is much more growing for this part of the market to do.

Then there is the panels sector. Notably smaller now, thanks to the dominance of composite doors, panels are being increasingly used in PVCu door that are made mostly of midrails and mullion, creating a cleaner, more modern version of PVCu. So they still have a part to play in the door market, just in a different way than we have been used to in years gone by.

Naturally, given the growth of the composite market, and the large volumes of business some composite door makers are doing, this is one NFA category most are very keen on winning.

Vista Panels were victorious in the 2016 campaign, but the task to find the 2017 champion starts now.
