The 2019 FIT Show announced its marketing theme at a recent Exhibitor Day – Everyone’s Going Live. The people in our industry have always been the stars of the FIT Show’s previous marketing campaigns, and this time around is no different – but this time, video is at the heart of the campaign.
Liniar and Avantek Machinery are both big believers in the power of video – their active YouTube channels and website video pages are testament to this – so they were always going to rise to the challenge to create a video for the FIT Show. Marketing Director Sue Davenport explains how they approached the task for this particular shoot:
We wanted our video to not only encourage people to visit the FIT Show but also get across how important our own people are to us as a business. Both Liniar and Avantek have a culture of people development and customer service, and we thought our video should highlight that – as well as introducing some of the wider team that work so hard to create and deliver our products on a daily basis.
“We wrote our own ‘poem’ for the video, and the team were great at getting on board with what we were trying to achieve. Even the ones who grumbled secretly enjoyed being film stars for the day!”
