This category is proudly sponsored by GQA Qualifications:
Perhaps a category that has become one of the most vital, most important in the grander scheme of the UK fenestration industry. With a well documented shortage in youth and skilled workers, the Young Person 2017 category continues to take on bigger significance each and every year.
Starting as a way to show that the youth of our country cannot all be tarred with the same “lazy” brush, we see this category as a beacon to be used by the eventual winner to show the 16-25 age group that a career in UK fenestration is a worthwhile one and that this is an industry that will welcome a new younger generation and with plenty of jobs to go round.
For the NFA team, this is one of our most important awards, a personal one that shines light on some of the hard working people that don’t always get their chance at public recognition.
Luke Platt of Prefix Systems was voted as the winner in 2016, so now it is tie to crown a 2017 winner.
For someone to be eligible for this category, all nominees must be between the ages of 16-25 during the 2017 campaign. They can work at any level in UK fenestration, whether it’s in installation, fabrication, systems companies or any level in between.
To cast your vote, simply fill in the form below. We have worked to make the voting process as quick and simple as possible. It should only take you a minute. Each person can cast one vote in each of the 17 #NFA17 categories.
Once you have filled out your vote click the “submit” button and that’s it. You’ve played your part in helping to decide UK fenestration’s best young person. The young person with the most votes by Thursday 30th November will be declared the #NFA17 winner of their category.
To help you decide where to place your votes, each person will have the chance to set up their own profile page. These will become live once we receive then information requested from them and you’ll be able to click the name of each nominee to view their profile page.
Good luck to all the finalists!
