GQA Qualifications, the Fenestration industry’s only qualifications writing and awarding body, has signed on once again to support the National Fenestration Awards during the 2018 campaign.
With 24 categories this year, including seven brand new ones, the 2018 NFA campaign will be the most inclusive and extensive yet.
GQA Qualifications will be sponsoring the Young Person award category once again. This is the signature category designed to promote and reward the very best 16-25 year olds doing great work in the UK window and door industry. With GQA’s unique position in the sector, with a focus on training and qualifications, they are in an ideal position to promote this award category specifically.
As the NFA’s longest supporters, they will also have the role of “ambassador”. They will be pushing the positive message of the awards and encouraging everyone to take part in all areas of the NFAs.
Speaking on the announcement, co-founder Jason Grafton-Holt said: “it’s fantastic to have GQA Qualifications on board for yet another campaign. Their place in the future of the window and door industry is unique and of absolute importance, given the nature of the skills crisis the sector is in right now. I look forward to seeing GQA’s positive work in the months ahead.”
Mick Clayton, CEO of GQA Qualifications, added his comments: “We are big supporters of recognising people’s efforts and achievements and the NFA’s do just that. We are happy to continue our support of the Awards once again, and wish it every success.”
GQA Qualifications will also be providing some amazing entertainment at the upcoming #NFA17 Winners Event. In true NFA style, it will be something brand new to a glazing industry corporate event and will be a sure-fire hit with guests. More to be announced on that soon!
